About Eleasha — Founder of OM Makeup Artistry & Beauty, Sheffield
Hi everyone! I’m Eleasha — a passionate bridal makeup artist, educator, and founder of OM Makeup Artistry & Beauty here in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.
Born and raised in Sheffield, this vibrant city has always been home. It’s where my journey in the beauty and makeup industry began back in 1999 at Sheffield College, where I completed Level 2 and Level 3 in Beauty Therapy. After gaining hands-on experience in salons and spas, I followed my love for the industry to the University of Derby, graduating with a degree in International Spa Management.
I spent several years working on prestigious beauty and makeup counters, rising to become a business manager for multiple professional makeup brands. But I felt drawn to education — wanting to help others discover the confidence and creativity that beauty brings. So, in 2015, I completed a Master’s in Professional Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) at the University of Hull, and spent the next decade teaching in further education colleges, community programs, and supporting learners from all walks of life.
In 2019, I decided to return to formal training and achieved my Level 3 qualification in Makeup Artistry, further refining my skills and keeping up to date with the latest trends and professional techniques. This helped me offer my brides even more personalised, flawless bridal makeup looks, from soft natural styles to radiant boho‑inspired finishes.
Creating bridal magic across Sheffield & South Yorkshire
In 2015, I launched my bridal hair and makeup business in Sheffield. Inspired by personal loss, this part of my work has become incredibly meaningful: from the first trial to watching each bride walk down the aisle feeling radiant, confident, and truly herself. Over the years, I’ve specialised in creating soft, natural, romantic bridal makeup, radiant glowing looks, boho styles, and freelance bridal hairstyling including Hollywood waves, half-ups, and effortless updos.
It’s a privilege to be part of so many love stories — and seeing former brides grow their families remains one of my greatest joys.
Growing, innovating & inspiring
In 2020, during the pandemic lockdown, I channelled my creativity into launching my own lipstick range to complement my bridal makeup services — a project I’m still excited to grow.
By 2022, after a decade of teaching, I was ready for a new challenge. Drawing on years of industry knowledge and teaching experience, I founded my own beauty and makeup academy in Sheffield, offering professional courses accredited by Associated Beauty Therapists (ABT) and proudly endorsed by the Hair and Beauty Industry Authority (HABIA). My mission is to empower the next generation of makeup artists, bridal specialists and beauty professionals with real-world skills, creativity, and confidence.
Industry recognition & beyond
In 2024, I had the honour of being invited to join the MOBO Awards makeup team, working backstage with incredible talent. The following year, in 2025, I returned as Head Makeup Artist for the MOBO Awards, leading an amazing team and creating looks for celebrities from across the UK and beyond.
In July 2025, I was also invited to speak on the panel at Tone of Beauty’s “The Future is Now”, discussing the cultural impact and future of beauty, makeup, and hair education.
